We thought Monday was going to be just any other day. We even went to an Oscar party the night before...Jen didn't sleep very well Sunday night and woke up around 5:30am thinking maybe her water broke...didn't seem like much...we got up around 6:30 thinking we should start cleaning up and knocking more things off our "list" - yes, there's a to-do list floating around. I even decided to make breakfast. As Jen took her first bite of scrambled eggs she felt her first 23 second contraction. That was at 7:30. By 9 we were on our way to our dr's office. By 10:30 we were in our delivery suite at Swedish. Sam made his calm and graceful entrance to the world at 1:09pm weighing in at a comfortable 6lbs 6oz and 19in...Jen was absolutely amazing and by all the professionals accounts had the most amazing, calm, all natural birth they have ever seen (not making that up)...
We are all doing great and just hanging out tonight at the hospital getting to know each other. Unbelievable...Much love - Eric
Thanks for the photos! He is beautiful and I love you all SO much! I am so proud to be Sam's Aunt. I can't wait to meet him and give him Aunt Keri kisses!!
